Learn Kana is a widget designed to assist users in studying the Japanese alphabets, hiragana and katakana. This widget, created by Seva Alekseyev, is available for Android devices and is free to use.

The Learn Kana widget is a convenient tool for anyone who is currently studying or interested in learning the hiragana and katakana characters. It consists of two app widgets - "Learn Hiragana" and "Learn Katakana". These widgets display kana characters along with their English readings directly on your home screen.

One of the notable features of the Learn Kana widget is that it automatically changes the displayed character every 5 minutes, allowing users to continuously expose themselves to new characters.

Seva Alekseyev is also working on adding a "Learn Kanji" widget to the JISHOP project, further expanding the range of resources available to Japanese language learners.
